Boat work list

Deck and stern bridge

Construction of a new deck over the fore and aft decks, in solid teak 12 millimetres thick, glued on polyurethane elastic support and interspersed with black polyurethane rubber jointing chiments of the same shape and size as the existing one in place.

Construction of a new grating on the stern platform in solid teak wood with the same measurements as the existing one in place.

Demolition of the carabottino supports on the stern platform and cutting of the damaged plywood parts.
Construction of a new support for the duckboard in solid Iroko wood and restoration of the removed parts of the plywood frame.
Discing and restoration of the fibreglass underneath the swim platform, sanding and application of two coats of antifouling.
Gluing of marine plywood over the entire surface of the swim platform and solid wood edging of the inner part.

Gangway
Construction of two new solid teak gratings for the gangway
Construction of a filler inside the transom cavity with solid iroko wood and epoxy resin
Construction of a stainless steel counterplate, 10 millimetres thick, inside the transom to be coupled to the outer plate of the gangway, construction of a tie rod system with threaded rods and bow bars to be attached to the hull stringers to counteract the leverage exerted by the gangway on the transom

Hull and deckhouse
Sanding of the deadwork and application of two coats of Awl Grip 545 primer and two coats of Awl Grip Sea Foam paint (green).
Resurfacing of the waterline, freeboard, name and plates.
Sanding of deckhouse and cockpit, application of two coats of Awl Grip 545 primer and two coats of white Awl Craft paint.
Sanding of deckhouse window frames, application of six coats of polyurethane component primer and six coats of clear polyurethane paint.
Repair of damaged parts of the mainmast, sanding and application of eight coats of clear gloss varnish.

Replacement of engine block (left) and wiring
